The weekend of 8th and 9th October saw the team head to South Wales for the All-Wheel Drive Club event at Walters Arena. And what a weekend and what an interesting week leading up to the event.
The outcome of the weekend was a fantastic first in class and 25th overall. Brilliant driving from Jasmine saw us navigate both days without any damage especially in the tyre department where others were suffering badly with punctures. Not so our Maxxis Wormdrives. Jasmine was co-driven by Aaron Brimblecombe as we were forced to abandon our all-female crew temporarily due to illness and Covid. But what a team they made.
So, with a hugely depleted and disrupted team we were thankful to Jacko and Gary for a monumental amount of work on the car over the weekend to keep us in top condition. It really was an incredible effort and Team Principal John Hardy said “I am just so proud of everyone this weekend. It just proves what a great team we have all pulling together to achieve a terrific result”.
And this result brings up out 8th podium finish in a row – five 1st’s, a second and 2 third places.
