With the Excite Team taking part in the Shuttleworth Air Show Race Day there was an exceptional opportunity to support and raise funds and the profile of The Animal Emergency Rescue Organisation (AERO).
AERO is a not-for-profit organization that began by delivering blood supplies to vets for pets in the West Midlands and parts of Wales. The group is believed to be the first of its kind in the country.
AERO delivers blood products for pets to vets on behalf of Pet Blood Bank UK, which is based in Loughborough. The group initially focuses on dog blood, but plans to expand to cover other pets in the future.
The organisation has also expanded its service into more of a rescue operation and dealing with helping animals first hand.
By way of support the team ran a prize draw throughout the day and the lucky winner, Eloise, pictured with team principal John Hardy and Polly Watkin from Aero, got a ride in the Desert Warrior 3.
